Slide the heat shrink tubing over the splices you just soldered (make sure the solder joint is cool before doing this). Center the heat shrink tubing so that it completely covers the bare solder joint and an equal  amount of the wire insulation on each side of the solder connection. Apply heat with a heat gun or hair drier until the tubing shrinks tightly around the solder connection and wires.

                      

Congratulations, you have just finished the most difficult part of the kit installation. It should look something like the picture above. Now is the time to double and triple check with the wiring diagram to make sure that you have the wires hooked together properly.
